Player of the Year 2009/10

Here are the current standings for the 2009/10 golf season which will finish May 2010 prior to the June 2010 AGM. 

All stats are produced by our very own statto James Haycock so if you have any queries or want to ask any questions then contact him here.  Stats will be updated as soon as we can after each event. 

Standings below are after the FINAL event the River Severn Steamer at Severn Meadows Golf Club.

You need to have participated in at least 5 golf events during the year to qualify for Player of the Year.

Upon becoming a Member points are awarded after a Qualifying Period of 3 events or until Handicap is agreed by the Committee whichever is sooner.

Scoring System
1 point is recieved on a sliding scale for every member playing in the event plus bonus points for 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
For Example, 13 Competitors, 1st Place - 13 Points, 2nd Place - 12 Points........ Last Place - 1 Point.
Bonus Point - 1st Place - 3 Points, 2nd Place - 2 Points, 3rd Place - 1 Point.

Winners

There will be two winners during the year, an overall winner and a Maximum Handicap winner.
In the event of a tie the player with the most first places, second or third places will be deemed the winner.
