After the team competition (results below) the awards for our two Player of the Year awards were confirmed as below. Photos are in the gallery further down
| Player of the Year (0-19 HC) | Kevin Pace |
| Player of the Year (20+ HC) | Garry Elwell |
The AJB Trophy saw the Brummie Roaders retain the trophy with a comfortable 9-3 victory.
The final individual event of the year saw our captain, Paul Want, claim the winners trophy on countback from Ashley Hayward with Garry Doyle making up the podium.
We also saw a welcome return to action for Mike Dimbylow who has been absent for much of the season due to ill health. Welcome back Dimbers!
Adverse weather meant that we were only able to calculate the results over the first nine holes and, as a result, it was agreed that no handicap movements would be made this month. Connor Till came out on top with an impressive 20 points with Bob Crump and Reg Bonehill completing the podium positions on countback. Kevin unfortunately took the pink shirt having binned his card.
The Chairman failed to challenge the leaders at his own Challenge Cup, but Stewart Adshead found the going somewhat easier as he romped to a seven-shot victory occasioning a four-shot hit to his handicap! The podium was completed by Simon Perks and Dave Allen with Jonny Drury distinguishing himself with a pair of birdies!
Congratulations to Reg Bonehill who won the Captain’s Cup individual event while the Team winners were the “Chairman’s Diamonds” consisting of Garry Elwell, Charlie Elwell, Reg Bonehill and Ernie Watts.
The event raised a total of £1,300 for the Albion Foundation which was a fantastic effort from all involved. Special thanks to Marcel Bennett, Mark Taylor, Steve Meeson, Sandwell GC, Great Barr GC, Wergs GC and Llanymynech GC who all supplied raffle prizes.
