webmaster As Sky Sports have decided to televise the Albion-Chelsea game, the football and golf have switched dates, so the Christmas Cracker event at the West Midlands Golf Club will now take place on Saturday 10th December, teeing off at 10.30am
Last Sunday’s event at Churchill and Blakedown Golf Club was won by Ian Manford who followed up his runners up spot from last week by finishing a point clear of Super Bob Taylor.
Due to the Albion match against Leicester being moved to Sunday 6th November, the Fireworks Sparkler event has been moved to the following week, Sunday 13th November. All other details remain the same.
Last Sunday’s event at Handsworth Golf Club turned out to be another win for Bryn Jones, four points ahead of Ian Manford and Gary Elwell.
The society celebrated its tenth anniversary last weekend by holding the Concept Classic at the venue for the first ever WBA Supporters’ Golf Society, Gloucester Golf Club. The event was won by Martin Grange with 35 points.
Last Sunday’s event at Telford was won by Mike Gilbert with 32 points, one ahead of Ashley Hayward, who was a further point ahead of Bryn Jones.
