Game 5 – Redditch Golf Club – 23rd June 2024

Another warm and sunny day and another good turnout. A good course with tricky greens and it was Jonny Drury who came out on top, a point clear of Tay Kyte. Barry Hamblett edged out a gaggle of players on 31 points to claim the final podium position on countback.

Game 4 – Sapey Golf Club – 2nd June 2024

For once, it was a sunny day, and an enjoyable round of golf with some very close scoring. John West came out on top with Sharon Cartwright claiming second place on countback. Kelvin Warren completed the podium positions.

Game 3 – Wergs Golf Club – 28th April 2024

We were forecast a wet day but the weather gods provided a rain-free day on an very enjoyable course that has held up well to this year’s horrendous conditions. Dennis Pilcher came out on top with 35 points, a couple clear of Anthony Beards. Colin Stephens nicked the final podium spot on countback.

Game 2 – Bewdley Pines Golf Club – 7th April 2024

Four seasons in one day at Bewdley Pines, which was in excellent condition especially considering the weather we have experienced this year. Tay Kyte emerged as the winner by a point from Dave Allen and Marcel Bennett.

Game 1 – Chesterton Valley Golf Club – 3rd March 2024

The new season started with a first time win for the new Captain, Paul “Gen” Want, who beat Dennis Pilcher by 2 points on a day when twelve players scored better than par.

Game 10 – The Chase Golf & Country Club – 19th November 2023

The AJB Trophy was between two well-matched teams and it fittingly came down to the final match. It finished 6-6 overall allowing the Brummie Roaders to retain the trophy.
