The annual WBA Supporters’ Golf Society Charity Day was held at Kiddermister Golf Club on Sunday 17th July. The individual competition was won by Gene Ball but the real winner was the charity Dream It, Believe It, Achieve It for whom £1,550 was raised.

The Chairman’s Choice event at Wharton Park was played on 12th June after some April snow caused it to be postponed from its original date. However, the weather once again intervened meaning that only 12 holes were played.

Nine players managed to make Friday’s event at Sandwell Park, and it was won by Ashley Hayward with a score of 34 points.
Due to some unseasonal snow on the course at Wharton Park causing the closure of some parts of the course, the event has been re-arranged for Sunday 12th June.
