Last Sunday’s event at Telford was won by Mike Gilbert with 32 points, one ahead of Ashley Hayward, who was a further point ahead of Bryn Jones.

Charity Day Results
The annual WBA Supporters’ Golf Society Charity Day was held at Kiddermister Golf Club on Sunday 17th July. The individual competition was won by Gene Ball but the real winner was the charity Dream It, Believe It, Achieve It for whom £1,550 was raised.
Results – The Chairman’s Choice
The Chairman’s Choice event at Wharton Park was played on 12th June after some April snow caused it to be postponed from its original date. However, the weather once again intervened meaning that only 12 holes were played.

Nine players managed to make Friday’s event at Sandwell Park, and it was won by Ashley Hayward with a score of 34 points.
Results – The Opening Ceremony
The opening event of the 10th Anniversary Season was held at Worfield on Sunday and was won by Bryn Jones continuing his excellent record since joining the society in the latter half of last year.

The final event of the year at Ombersley was a better ball pairs competition won by Bryn Jones and Rob Wearing.
