webmaster For once, it was a sunny day, and an enjoyable round of golf with some very close scoring. John West came out on top with Sharon Cartwright claiming second place on countback. Kelvin Warren completed the podium positions.
We were forecast a wet day but the weather gods provided a rain-free day on an very enjoyable course that has held up well to this year’s horrendous conditions. Dennis Pilcher came out on top with 35 points, a couple clear of Anthony Beards. Colin Stephens nicked the final podium spot on countback.
Four seasons in one day at Bewdley Pines, which was in excellent condition especially considering the weather we have experienced this year. Tay Kyte emerged as the winner by a point from Dave Allen and Marcel Bennett.
The new season started with a first time win for the new Captain, Paul “Gen” Want, who beat Dennis Pilcher by 2 points on a day when twelve players scored better than par.
