Sunday’s Concept Classic at Walsall Golf Club was won by Martin Grange on 39 points, and Martin was also a member of the winning team, Pulis’s Probables.

The main event at Sunday’s visit to Gaudet Luce was won by new member, Gene Ball, with an impressive 40 points. The nine-hole medal event on the par 3 course was won by guest, Simon Humphries.
Results – Captain’s Day Charity Event
Our Captain’s Day Charity Event was held on Saturday 11th July at Astbury Hall. Despite the lowest ever turnout for our charity event, it was a successful day with £1,545 raised for our chosen charity, the Prostate Cancer Support Group. The event was won by guest, Thomas Wright, with 35 points.

Last Saturday’s event at The Manor Golf Club near Uttoxeter was won by Ashley Hayward with 37 points, one clear of Tim Higgs.
Results – The Salopian Experience
Last Sunday’s event at Bridgnorth, the Salopian Experience, attracted a very healthy 20 players, although 10 of them were guests, 8 of them courtesy of member, Ian Manford.

The Society’s April event was the Chairman’s Choice event and was held at Halesowen Golf Club on 12th April. Ashley Hayward made it two from two for 2015, this time by the more convincing margin of 6 points.
