After a few cancellations, the Society was back in action on 6th July at Bewdley Pines. The event was played in warm sunshine, bar one heavy shower and Tim Higgs came out on top as the overall winner.

The opening event of 2014 at Halfpenny Green was won by Keith Cosnett with 38 points.
Results – The Fireworks Sparkler
November’s event at Bidford Grange was won by Karl Rooke with 46 points with some good scores posted all the way down the leaderboard.

The Concept Classic at Burghill Golf Club in September was won by John Robinson with 40 points.

The August event at Worfield Golf Club near Bridgnorth was won by Lee Ganly with 37 points.
Results – Captain’s Day 2013
The WBASGS Captain’s Day, which raised £1,600 for the CATS Foundation, was held on 6th July at Astbury Hall. The individual event was won by Danny Stevens, and he was also a member of the wining team, Farm Boys 1, along with Karl Marie, Aiden Marie and Alan Auton.
